What do we do here? comment? post? do we need our own blogs to post our essays?

  2. Kevin Makice Says:

Yes. In fact, you just did.

Comments are moderated for first-time posters, FYI, so they won’t appear until I approve them. Then you should be unmoderated.

If you go into the Site Admin link on the left side, after logging in, you will be to the control panel where you can post questions. Make use of the categories, too, to make the questions and essays easier to find.

Since we need to be approved commenting, here’s an initial post.

Here is my initial post as well. :)

When I click on the *site admin* button…it just takes me to the main page… Should I be seeing some specific class blog page or do I just post my comments and such on the main Word Press site…?

First of all, this is a comment, not a post. You should be going into the Admin section of your assigned blog and creating posts there. That’s where your questions will go. Your answers should be comments to other people’s posts.

Second, this is not your assigned blog. You are in group B, which is where you will find a working Site Admin link. Group B’s blog can be found in the upper left sidebar, or here.

Third, you don’t have to each make an initial comment right now of the “I’m just making a comment” variety. Each of you will be making as many comments, at least, as we have reading assignments, so that will take care of itself. I was just letting everyone know that your first comment won’t appear without my approval. Then, you should be able to post freely.

An OnCourse email should be coming shortly …
